Parks & Rec Meeting on Tuesday
The Parks & Recreation Development Corporation has their February meeting on Tuesday night. The agenda is posted with the other city agendas. This is a good group. They are funded by sales tax and take care of parks development and maintenance. Joe Bob says check it out.
By the way, there is a council meeting on Thursday. I'll post that agenda soon. Also, there is a gas board meeting tonight. Perhaps we will get a report on that meeting. The fun never ends.

Remember that the Mayor, who is on th board, publicly stated that he was not going to report to council on these meetings. What a functional guy!
Gas Board, sorry.
I wonder if the mayor will even show up at Parks and Rec tonight. He is on that board, but seldom, if ever, attends.
The mayor did not attend the Gas Board last night. Maybe that's why he does not want to report to council about what goes on there. How can he?
Wait a minute! Is the mayor a member of the Parks and Rec Board and the Gas Board, but neglects attending meetings? How can he shirk his duty? Is he too important or what?
Why did he not attend the Gas Board meeting when it is a LARGE TICKET ITEM on his personal agenda??? And do you think he will attend the Parks and Rec Board meeting when two USDA grants are on the agenda, two grants that Florencio is not tending to? Plus I see from the Parks and Rec Board agenda that the Mayor and flo's good buddy Dan Petrosky is finally getting off of one of the many boards he serves on, I guess because he is a council member now.
Has been reported that the Mayor did not attend the Parks and Rec Board meeting again? Petrosky is off. It was a good meeting! Parks and Rec has gotten the USDA 261,000 grant to improve MAC facilities and is matching with 62,000 of Parks and Rec money. They are now applying for another USDA grant to improve the ball park. GO PR Board! Who needs Florencio????
Parks and Rec grant have hit a glitch...Need signature of Mayor. Mayor is missing, nobody knows where.
